Funeral services for James Jim Steve Stathelson, Sr., 83, of Talladega will be Saturday, September 10, 2011, at 2 PM at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Louis Culver and Elder Ernie Stump will officiate and burial will be in Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery. His family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.
Mr. Stathelson was a member of Beulah Primitive Baptist Church in Leeds.
He is survived by his wife Mildred June Stathelson, daughter, Donna Cordes (Barry) of Talladega, son, Steve Stathelson (Tammy) of Cusseta, AL, brother, John Stathelson of Talladega, grandchildren, Nikolous (Jessica) Cordes, Landon (Tannia) Cordes, Ben (Hillery) Cordes, and Sarah, Hannah and James Stathelson.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Davis, Anthony and Tyler Zachero, Mike Gallahare, Bobby Peoples and Adrain Taylor.
