Preceded in Death by:He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Sallie Welch, and by his sister, Dot Gant. Survivors:Wife: Betty Welch, Daughters: Cindy (Carl) Armstrong of Pell City, Nancy (Mark) Runyan of Alabaster, Son: Ralph (Janet) Welch of Hoover, 6 Grandchildren: Adam, Andrew, & Angela Armstrong, Jordan & Kristen Runyan, Christopher Welch, 6 Great Grandchildren, Numerous nieces & nephews Service:Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City Wednesday, July 27, 2011 2:00 P.M. Clergy:Rev. Carl Armstrong, Rev. Bob Praytor Cemetery:St. Clair Memorial Gardens Visitation:The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-2 at the funeral home. Pallbearers:Christopher Welch, Adam Armstrong, Andrew Armstrong, Jackie Gant, Mark Runyan Honorary Pallbearers:, Members of the Hardees' Thursday, Morning Breakfast Club Contributions:In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stemley Baptist Church Building Fund at P.O. Box 1368, Pell City, Al 35125. The family would like to thank the friends and neighbors of Morning Side for all of their love and support over the years.
