He is survived by his daughter, Jan Browning, aunt, Cherry Fite, cousin, Tommy Fite and several other cousins.He was a native of Talladega. His father was pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church for a number of years. He was a Navy veteran during
the Korean War. He graduated from Auburn with a degree in horticulture. He was in charge of the grounds at the State Capital
during the Wallace years
Mr. Browning passed away July 15, 2011.
