Obituary of Martin Larwence Smith

Mr. Smith was a native of Clay County and lived in Talladega most of his life. He worked at Bemis Co. for 38 years and for Georgia Pacific for 10 years. He was a veteran of WWII and purple heart recipient. Member of Munford Church of Christ. Survivors: Wife, Gladys Smith of Munford, Daughter, Bonnie Oglesby (Travis) of Munford, Son, Rodney Smith (Jeanette) of Talladega, Sister, Dixie Weldon of Talladega, Brother, Eric Smith of Lanette, AL, 6 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren Preceded in Death: Parents, Albert and Lala Smith and 3 brothers, Bruce, Clyde, and Clarence Smith.
