Obituary of Thelma Inez Wesson

Mrs. Wesson was preceded in death by her husband, Thurston W. Wesson; two infant sons and grandson, Scott Wesson. She is survived by her son, Joseph F. Wesson and daughters; Ann Puckett (Larry) and Jean Stanford (Jimmy), grandchildren; Michelle Wesson EI-Falah (Salah), Jason Freeman (Erin), Cara Camp, Danielle Short (Dustin), Mendy Wesson and 4 step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and thirteen step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Jones, Mary Johnson and Joann Dabbs. Mrs. Wesson was born in Clay County and lived in Talladega for the last 63 years. She was a member of Southwood Presbyterian Church, homemaker and loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family. She was an avid gardener, wonderful cook with a special flair for making delicious cakes. To her children and grandchildren she was their playmate, guardian and friend. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly. Her family wishes to give a special thanks to her caregivers at Talladega Healthcare Center and Dr. Davis and his staff. Pallbearers will be family members
