Clyde Olan Watts, Sr. TALLADEGA - Graveside service for Clyde Olan Watts, Sr, 73, will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 13th at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Robert Blackwell officiating. Mr. Watts, the son of the late Robert Alonzo Watts and Beatrice Martin Watts, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, Sept. 9th. Born in Clay County, Mr. Watts was Baptist by faith and a native of Talladega where he was the owner of Clyde's Floral Designs and operator until his retirement in 2001. He is survived by Harley McCrickard of Talladega; Robert Bear of Talladega; four daughters, Lauretta Phillips of Talladega, Kelly Swango of Largo, FL, Scarlett Sedmak of Anniston, Rachael McCrimmon of Oxford; and one son, Clyde Watts II of Piedmont; two brothers, James Watts of Douglasville, GA and Donald Watts of Tacoma, WA; best friends Judy and Norman Cameron of St. Petersburg, FL; 13 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandsons; many extended family members, friends and his beloved dog, "Pigtail". Pallbearers will be close friends Robert Bear, Charles Montgomery, Lonnie Fowler; son in law Scott Swango; nephew, Harold Watts; grandsons Daniel Curry, Gabriel Phillips and Brad Oglesby. Usery Funeral Home Talladega will direct the service.
