Obituary of Mary G. Stoffregen

Mary G. Stoffregen, a devote Christian woman, went to be with Jesus, her Savior on September 4, 2010. Mary was born to Oscar Levert and Percilla Adeline Gaither on September 6, 1914 in Talladega, Alabama where she lived her entire life. She married Levert Stoffregen December 24, 1931, and together they had three children, Mary Ameila Hallman, Oscar Levert Stoffregen and Roy Dixon Stoffregen. Mary loved her family and home was very important to her. She never worked outside the home but she believed in maintaining the home and was very devoted to her family. Service will be Tuesday at 2:00 at Usrey Chapel with Andy Mims officiating. She will be buried beside her husband, Levert, of 49 years at Stockdale Cemetery. She was also preceded in death by her two sons Oscar and Roy. She is survived by her daughter Ameila Hallman and grandchildren Kathy (Robert) Stewart, Craig (Anita) Hallman, Wayne (Sharon) Stoffregen, Brian (Diane) Stoffregen and Gary Stoffregen; her great-grandchildren surviving her are Benny Ren Hallman, Amanda (Cam) Hill, Tim Stoffregen and Mikayla Stoffregen; her great-great grandchildren Camdyn Hill and Carson Hill. She is also survived by a very special "adopted" grandson Jon (Wanda) Adams. Pall bearers will be great nephews: Davey Gaither, Rex Gaither, Michael Gaither, Shane Gaither, Jinky Roberts and Tony Parton.
