Mr. Gaither was raised in Ashland, AL, then moved to Talladega where he married the love of his life Ellie Rue Bailey. He was Staff Sergent in the US Army in the Korean War. He worked for Alabama Power Co. and Talladega Foundy and Machine, then later retired in 1993 as Co-owner of Talladega Castings and Machine. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and Louis Willoughby Sunday School Class. Survivors: Daughter & Son-in-Law, Karan Gaither Griffin (Rex), Grandchild, Baily Sartin, Bonus Grandchildren, Rosanne Gallahar (Kyle), Brantley Griffin (Jennifer), Great-Grandchild, Colson Griffin, Sister, Annie Maude Saxon (Bill) Pallbearers: Scott Gaither, Joey Peters, Chad Hayes, Ronald Ogletree, Terry Ogletree, Stan Burleson Honorary Pallbearers: Members of Louis Willoughby Sunday School Class, "Auburn Gang", Dixie Shrine Club, Zamora Shriners
