Timons Hendrix Martin, 78, of Long Beach, CA, formerly of Talladega, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home Talladega, at 2:00P.M.. Elder Barry Cordes and Glenn Horn officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00.
Mr. Martin was born on November 15, 1932. He was a Korean War Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hendrix and Marie Martin; son, Danny Martin.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Martin Uchiyama; son, Ronald Ronald C. Martin and his wife, Margie; daughter, Darlene C. Martin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Melvin Martin, Norman Martin, Michael Martin, Lamar Edwards, Harvey Martin; sisters, Rosemary Robinson, Janice Ferguson, DeeDee Gilbert, Virginia Gurley.
Pallbearers will be Harvey Martin, Norman Martin, Josh Martin, Chris Calhoun, J.R. Gilbert, and Tanner Edwards.
