I was a student of Mr.Griffin's and I would like to tell him that I am very sorry for the loss of his wife.When i heard about it,I was really sad.Mr.Griffin,I don't know what it feels like to lose someone that you have loved for years,but I know that it is really hard to go through something like that.Again, I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Phyllis was a wonderful friend, teacher and neighbor. She made me laugh. When my youngest daughter was struggling with a health issue she was very supportive. My eldest daughter was very taken by Phyllis. We happen to move into Crossgates at the time Lane was going into the second grade. Lane and her husband are the proud owners of a black lab due to Phyllis and Ben. My sincerest condolences to Paulk and other family members. She did make an impact on the lives of many.

Paulk, I was so sorry and shocked to hear about Phyllis. Whenever I think of her I remember Latin class at Talladega High and how much we laughed in class. The last time I remember seeing you and Phyllis was at a campaign meeting in Talladega in very early 1970's. May God comfort you and your family. Wayne Sims

James and I are so sorry to hear about Phyllis. I talked with her last summer about our THS class of '65 reunion. She was so excited about reconnecting w/our classmates, but because of other plans was not able to attend. I have such good memories of Phyllis during our high school years - she was loved by all.
