Obituary of Lottie Hardegree

Lottie B. Hardegree, 94, of Talladega passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2011. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 6, 2011, at 2:00PM, at Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home in Talladega. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Rev. Teddy Crum officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.S. Hardegree; parents, John and Pearl White; son-in-law, Benny Burns. She was a very involved member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Achiever's Club and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was very active and lived a healthy life walking each morning up until ten years ago when her health began to decline. She is survived by her daughter Sandra H. Burns, Columbus, GA, Dianne D. Bishop, Montgomery, AL; son, Johnny Hardegree(Cathy), Talladega; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Connie Smith, Bertha Smith, and Marva Cotton for their special friendship and devotion. In addition, the family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to Lakeside Hospice for the care provided to Mrs. Hardegree.
