Wayne Bowen, 71, of Talladega passed away on March 1, 2011.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011, at 11:00AM, at Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the service.
Mr. Bowen was a 1957 graduate of Talladega High School and a 1961 graduate of Auburn University. He was an accountant with General Motors and retired after 37 years of service. He was a member of Bemiston Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was a devoted father, husband, and grandfather. Very devoted to his church and to His Lord Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife Margie G. Bowen; son, David Wayne Bowen; daughter, Susan Sykes; grandchildren, Daniel Wayne Bowen and Rachel Carroll Bowen.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Blankenship, Ed Walker, Chuck Sykes, David Bowen, Daniel Bowen, and Johnny Cooper.
