Obituary of Billie H. Jewell

Mrs. Billie H. Jewell, 74 of Talladega passed away Sunday April 5, 2015 at Talladega Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 PM April 7, 2015 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pine Hill Memorial Park, The Reverend Becky Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:30 – 1:00 Tuesday at the funeral home. Billie was a Native and lifelong of Talladega, she is preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Edward O. Hudgins, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Blackburn and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hudgins. Survivors include son Edwin P. Jewell III, daughter Susan J. Snyder (Thad), brother Donald E. Hudgins (Debbie) and grandsons Edwin P.Jewell IV and Joshua M. Jewell. Pallbearers will be Donald Hudgins, Rodney Blackburn, Stanley Blackburn, Thad Snyder, Brian Jewell and Donnie Hudgins. Honorary pallbearers Dr. Jim Davis, Dr. Mark Holbrook, Dr. Clay Davis, Mr. Wayne Miller, Mr. Clarence Haynes and Mr. Charles Weatherbee. The Family request in lieu of flowers memorial be made to a charity of your choice or The American Stroke Foundation.
