Obituary of Amelia Hodge

Graveside service for Amelia Hodge, 80, of Talladega will be Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 2:30 pm. Rev. Greg Tankersley will officiate and burial in Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00-2:00 pm and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mrs. Hodge passed away March 5, 2015 at Citizens BMC. Native and lifelong resident of Talladega and a former resident of Renfroe. She retired with over 30 years of service at The Talladega Daily Home. She was a longtime supporter of The March of Dimes, and a longtime volunteer of The Ritz, and a volunteer with The American Cancer Society. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph J. and Lois F. Hodge, brothers, Joseph J. Hodge, Jr., Paul “Bill” Wilton Hodge. She is survived by her sister, Elaine Martin (Terry), sister, Susie Franklin, nephews, Ty Hodge, Greg Martin, Steve Martin, Mike Hodge, Joey Hodge, niece, Missy St. John. Pallbearers will be family.
