Obituary of Emmie Jeanette Marler

Funeral service for Emmie Jeanette Marler, 78 0f Talladega, will be Saturday March 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Randy Morris and Rev. Ralph Abernathy will officiate and burial will be in Horn’s Memorial Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00-2:00 pm Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mrs. Marler passed away March 2, 2015 at Marshall Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She was a member of Horn’s Memorial Baptist Church. She loved her family and her joy in life was to take care of her family and friends. She loved her flowers, cooking and talking to anyone that would listen. She is preceded in death by father, Emmett O’Neal Horn, mother, Lesba Ruth Horn, brothers, Emmett Ray Horn, Terry Bennett Horn. Her survivors include her children, Janelle Miller, Cheryl Tubbs (Greg) and O’Neal Marler (Susan), 2 grandsons, and a granddaughter, 3 great-grandchildren, sisters, Sara Linkle and Kathy Wells (Larry), brother, Billy Horn (Carolyn) sister-in-law, Carol Horn and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Greg Tubbs, Thomas McVee, David Sparks, Chet Wells, Michael Murner, and Tracy Murner
