Funeral service for Roger Kenneth Randy Herd, 62 of Munford will be Tuesday March 3, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. Billy Hayes will officiate and burial will be in the Munford Cemetery on Jennifer Rd. His family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 till service time at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega.
Mr. Herd passed away at his home March 1, 2015.
He is preceded in death by mother Gerilyn Stringfellow and father, Marvin Coot Herd.
Native of Talladega and longtime resident of Munford. He was a member of Munford Church of Christ. He loved camping and the beach and was a history and genealogy buff.
He loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years Nell Stephens Herd, daughter, Kelly Nicole Herd (Chris Smith), grandson, Kameron Joseph Brock, brothers, David Herd (Rebecca), James Bear Heath and Joseph Herd and several nieces and nephews.
