Obituary of Margaret L. Hurst Mims

Funeral service for Margaret L. Hurst Mims, 88, of Talladega will be Sunday February 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home. Dr. Sam Tate will officiate and burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mrs. Mims passed away February 13, 2015 at Golden Living Health Care surrounded by her family. She was longtime resident of Talladega where she was a member of Central Baptist Church. She retired from AIDB with 25 years of service. She love to cook and bake for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary O. Pair and father, Earnest O. Pair, husbands, William Edward Hurst and Willie P. “Bill” Mims, son-in-law, Wayne Crowe, brothers, Earl Pair and J.B. Pair, great-grandson, Christopher Alan Hurst, granddaughter-in-law, Heather Hurst. Her survivors include son, Michael and his wife Paula Hurst, daughters, Kathy Crowe and Joye and her husband Tim Allison, granddaughters, Cheryl Crowe and Brooke Chaplin, grandsons, Chris Hurst, Jeramie Hurst, Johnathan Hurst, Jason Wideman, Justin Wideman, Nicholas Wideman, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Mims Sunday School Class
