Funeral services for Jimmy D. Wilkerson, 66, of Talladega will be Monday, February 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home. Rev. Brandon Davenport will officiate and burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega.
Mr. Wilkerson passed away January 30, 2015 at Citizens BMC.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Wilkerson and Lola Johnson, son, Gregory Wilkerson.
Jimmy was a native and longtime resident of Talladega. He worked for Metro D. for numerous years and was a self-employed carpenter.
His survivors include his children, Kim Williams (Gary) and Caryn Hurst (Michael), grandchildren: Cody Williams, Alyssa Williams, Josh Wilkerson, Baylie Hurst, Cohen Hurst, Chance Hurst and Dylan Hurst, sisters, Melba Meads, Brenda Allen (George) and brother Jerry Wilkerson, step-father, Chester Johnson.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
