Obituary of Larry Glenn Morgan

Rev. Larry Glenn Morgan, 72, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away on January 9, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Howard Morgan and Imogene Morgan Getz; sister, Faye Jones; brothers, Roy Jones and Steve Morgan; grandparents, Herman "Papa" Morgan and Nellie "Nannie" Morgan; and brother-in-law, Jerome Jones. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Morgan; daughters, Amanda Robinson (Keith) and Mary Beth Dorough (Josh); sons, Glenn Morgan (Kayla) and David Morgan; grandchildren, Walker Robinson, Levi Robinson, Eli Morgan, Landon Morgan, Emma Rose Morgan, Carver Dorough, Trevor Dorough, and Harper Dorough; sisters, Sharon Rice (Hulon), Nancy Lee (Richard), and Donna Burton; and brother, Don Getz (Michelle). The family will receive friends at the funeral home from Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2025. The funeral service will be held at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2025, with Rev. Billy Burtram officiating. Interment will be at St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are Jamie Crosson, Josh Dorough, Steve Gallups, Billy Higginbotham, Jesse Morgan, Walker Robinson, Levi Robinson, and Randall Stewart.
