George Travis Colquitt,79, of Talladega, AL passed away on Thursday, January 09, 2025. His family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:45 A.M. A graveside ceremony will be held in his honor at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Stephen Collins officiating.
Mr. Colquitt was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County and attended Talladega High School. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Colquitt retired from the Anniston Army Depot, and he was Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Odessa Colquitt, and brother, Leonard Colquitt.
Mr. Colquitt is survived by his wife, Patsy Colquitt, and cousins, Roger Bone (Peggy), Wanda Waites, Jasmine Waites, Phillip Bone (Eva), and Patrick Bone.
