Tommie Lorraine Ray, 74, of Talladega, AL passed away at her home on Sunday, December 29, 2024. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 02, 2025 at Central Baptist Church with Ricky Clark officiating. Her family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Pine Hill Memorial Park.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She graduated from Alabama School for the Blind and Jacksonville State University. Ms. Ray retired as a medical transcriptionist and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Ms. Ray is survived by her sister, Melba June Thompson (L.D.), and a host of dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Ray’s family asks that donations be made in her memory to Central Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1085, Talladega, AL 35161.
