Mr. Calvin Gene Smith, 75. of Odenville, Alabama, passed away on December 27, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and MaryBell Smith, and by ten brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Smith; daughters, Teresa Downing (Michael), Anita Harrison (Mike), Stacey Powell (Tommy), and Lacey Grund (Jimmy); son, Calvin Smith Jr. (Kim); grandchildren, Aaron, Megan, Gabriel, Austin, Grayson, Mason, Lanie, Brooke, Alexis, Annabelle, Camden, and Jaxon; thirteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Jeanette McCray (Steve).
The family will receive friends at New Haven Baptist Church in Ashville from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, followed by the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. with Bro. Gary White officiating. Interment will be at Liberty Church Cemetery in Odenville, Alabama.
