Obituary of Davina Leigh Meeks Blaylock

Davina Leigh Meeks Blaylock, born on March 14, 1968, in Anniston, Alabama, entered eternal rest on December 11, 2024, in Virginia at the age of 56. After a courageous four-year battle with early-onset dementia, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by love and comfort.
A former resident of Cropwell and Ashville, Alabama, Davina will be remembered for her adventurous spirit and loyal, empathetic nature. She brought joy to those around her with her friendly and social demeanor and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her intelligence, dedication, and carefree outlook on life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Davina was preceded in death by her parents, David and Emma Lou Meeks. She is survived by her children: Tiffany Frazier (Danny), Andrew Campbell (Angela), Timothy Campbell, Matthew Blaylock (Katelyn), and Nicholas Blaylock (Ashlyn). She was a loving grandmother to Emma Leigh Frazier, Avery Frazier, Elliott Jayne Frazier, Reiley Hallmark, Mason Smith, Charlie Campbell, Kayleigh Evangeline Campbell, and Oliver Blaylock. Davina is also survived by her sister Sue Ann Robinson (David), nephew Joey Lee (Rebecca), and great-nieces and nephews Mykah Lee, Mason Lee, and Maddyx Lee; as well as her aunts and uncles Jimmy Roy Johnson (Polly), James Meeks, Christine Meeks.
Visitation will be held on December 19, 2024, at Northside Fellowship, 19356 US 231, Pell City, AL 35125, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow on December 20, 2024, at Northside Fellowship at 11:00 a.m., with a graveside service immediately afterward at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Chula Vista.
Pastor Joey Lee will be officiating.
