Barbara Ann Lackey, 75, of Talladega, Alabama, passed away at her residence on December 6, 2024. A native of Munford, Alabama, Barbara lived most of her life in Talladega, AL. She found great joy in her role as a substitute teacher within the Talladega City School System and was a member of the Christian faith.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Carrie Curlee Brisendine; her son, Mark William Curlee; and her brother, Hugh L. Lackey, Jr. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gahlot, Caimn Curlee, Camdon (Ethan) Frazier, and Hayley Brisendine, along with her great-grandchild, Billy Frazier.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
