Obituary of Kelsie Dean Gallahar

Funeral service for Mrs. Kelsie Dean Gallahar 82, of Talladega, will be Monday, January 19, 2015, at 2:00 pm at Ironaton Church of Christ. Cliff Goodwin will officiate and burial will follow in Ironaton Church of Christ Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mrs. Gallahar passed away January 17, 2015 at Talladega Health Care Center. Mrs. Gallahar faithfully attended Ironaton Church of Christ up to her sickness. She worked for AIDB, Newberry Manufacturing and Talladega Machinery. She was a very caring person to all and will be missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Gallahar, brother, Donald Atkinson, and parents, George and Mary Atkinson. Survivors include her son, Stan (Dorothy) Gallahar, son, David (Darlene) Gallahar, 3 grandchildren, Crystal (Greg) Halcomb, Kyle (Rosanne) Gallahar, Jordan (Brooke) Gallahar, 3 great-grandchildren, Marshall and Maddox Halcomb, Payton Rose Gallahar, 2 sisters, Charlotte Blair, Ruby Jean Liner, and brother, Joe Ray Atkinson Pallbearers will be Bobby Faulkner, Joe Tom Stephens, Mickey Haney, Scotty Bishop, Sammy Haney, Tommy Nowland, Leslie Wyville, and Phillip Gallahar. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Robinson, Shelton Creed, Bill Camp, and Brad Collins.
