Mr. Elbert Dean Gowers, 73, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Gowers; granddaughter, Lilah Gowers; parents, Gordon Gowers and Minnie Lou Perkins; sister, Linda Hand; Big Momma, Rebecca Macon; and uncle, Buck Macon.

He is survived by his son, Scottie Gowers; daughters, Kristy Gowers, Stacy McMurrey (Jeremy), and Tina Stromberg (Allen); grandchildren, Taylor Gowers (Heather), Brent Gowers, Drew Gowers, Kristian Rogers, Carver May, Trason Cleckler, Morgan Cleckler, Amber Talley (Caleb), Tori Spry (Andrew), Blake Gowers (Bethany), Codey Gault, Paige McMurrey, Kristina Bright (Connor), Joshua Stromberg, Kaylee Teems, Johnathon Teems, Lexie Causey, Chase Causey, Ethan Warden (Blago), Evan Causey, and Emily Batson (Josh); nineteen great-grandchildren; brothers, J.L. Gowers and James Gowers; sister, Nancy Burgess; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City from 5:30 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2024, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
