I just read about Polly's passing! She was a really dear person, just like all the comments. I went to school with Polly.
When Monroe joined Zanesfield (I think we were in sixth grade), I have known Polly that many years. She was indeed a wonderful person, like all the comments. I knew her entire family. I haven't seen her since I think 2,000 when she had a gathering of our classmates. I had thought of her often. I didn't know she had moved to Alabama. I have lived in Florida and moved back to Ohio and am now living in Bellefontaine, Ohio. I have lived here for the past eight years. I could go on and on, but I think the comments speak for themselves. I am so sorry for your loss. Kay Hostetler

Polly loved to quilt and was always willing to help others. I am blessed to be one she encouraged. She was always so sweet and helpful. Praying for her family as they reflect on God's grace to their mother!

We were neighbors with the Hiltibrans for nearly 20 years and from the beginning they took us under their wings like second parents. And sometimes like first to be honest. Polly and I walked many miles and many days, shared eggs and cups of milk and meals and she gave me a shoulder to cry on when needed. She was part of my daily life and we remained close all those years, even spending many holidays together. They came to all of our kids’ events and sports. They supported like no others and were God’s gift to us through the many years we were blessed to have them live two houses down from us. The day they moved we all stood and cried because we would no longer live close enough to just drop by. What a loss. But we continued to stay in touch at least every couple of weeks and I loved Polly dearly. Words can’t express it adequately. I’ll miss her immensely! Becky Moell ♥️

Was only around Polly a few times. She was a delight, very active at the time. Really enjoyed her. I will miss her. Whenever I’m able to visit my sister in law Wendy and my brother Dan (Butch) and nieces and nephew. God Bless and Love you all. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

I’m so sorry for the loss of your Mother and Grandmother, Polly was such a sweet lady. She did my Mom’s (Jeaninne Berry) hair for years in Urbana Ohio. Everyone that knew her loved her. She was truly one of a kind.
