Obituary of Irene Harris Sims Smith

Mrs. Smith passed away January 15, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Smith was a native of Clay County and lived most of her life in Talladega and Munford. She was a member of Munford Baptist Church and retired from Crown Textile. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Smith, great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace and Harris James Norris. Survivors include her daughter, Janet Cobb, son, Wayne Sims, brother, Calvin Harris, 5 grandchildren, Camille Register, Jay Sims, Molly Cobb Norris, Trey Cobb, Joey Cobb, and 17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jay Sims, Trey Cobb, Roger Harris, Bloyce Harris, Jay Sims, Ashton Sims, and George Sims. Honorary pallbearers will be Camden Cobb, Quade Cobb, L.C. Harris, Charlie Harris, Jimmy Harris, Ronald Harris, Robin Harris, Joe Grogan, and Jerry Harris. Joey Cobb will officiate
