Frances Hughston, 89, of Talladega, AL passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024. A graveside ceremony will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Kory Burel officiating. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. prior to the service. Ms. Hughston was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and retired from AIDB. She was also a very active member of Bemiston Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Arpie Hughston and 6 siblings. Ms. Hughston is survived by her sister, Gerry Williams, brother, Dorman Hughston, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mike Hughston, Lamar Hughston, Steve Williams, Ernest Hughston, Greg Burden, and Gary Eakin will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, Ms. Hughston’s family asks that donations be made in her memory to Bemiston Baptist Church at 300 James Circle, Talladega, AL 35160. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing the service.
