Aaron Doyle Haywood passed away on Tuesday, October 16,2024 at Citizens Baptist Medical Center at the age of 87. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 20, 2024, 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel with David Gaither officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park.

Mr. Haywood is survived by his wife, Edna Haywood; sons, Tony (Janet) Haywood, Scott (Dawn) Haywood; grandchildren, Mandi Lynn (Darrell) Yates, Jeffrey Chance (Danielle) Haywood, Andrew Scott (Marilyn) Haywood, and Joseph Riley (Olga) Haywood; great grandchildren, Zoey Lynn (Logan) Gaither, Savannah Rae Yates, Maxine Love Haywood, Lois Joy Haywood, Brooklyn Taylor Haywood, and Anthony Jack Haywood; great-great grandchildren, Rowyn Krew Yates, and Mimzy Jean Gaither; two brothers: Ralph (Hilda) Haywood, and Tom (Kathy) Haywood.

Mr. Haywood is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Maxie Haywood, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Mr. Haywood was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, member of Providence Baptist and Grace Community Churches, former owner operator of Haywood T.V. Service, former instructor of electronics at CACC and was retired from CACC.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Haywood, Chance Haywood, Darell Yates, Logan Gaither, Joseph Haywood, James Parson, and Glen Wade.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mr. Haywood’s former students and former staff members at CACC Childersburg Campus.
