Teresa Marcelle Sewell, 68, of Talladega, AL passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at the funeral home on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. with Wesley Johnson officiating. Interment will follow directly after the service at Midway Memory Gardens. Mrs. Sewell was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and retired from AT&T after 25 years of service. She enjoyed shopping, going to auctions, and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her father, Venyard Williams Sr. and her husband, Larry Sewell Sr. Mrs. Sewell is survived by her mother, Martha Hayes Williams; sons, Bryan Hunter Sewell and Mathew Dillon Sewell (Anna); step-son, Larry Sewell Jr. (April); brother, Lloyd Williams Jr.(Rhonda); sister, Billie Hicks; grandchildren, Raelynn Sewell, Regan Sewell, Rylan Sewell, and Rori Sewell; lifelong friend, Desiree Sewell, and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Sewell’s family asks that donations be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s research hospital at www.stjude.org or 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
