Mrs. Cathy Ann Fernandez, 62, of Lincoln, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
Born in Anniston, Alabama, she moved to Auburn, Nebraska, at a young age, where she attended school and graduated.
She loved spending time with her family and crafting with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, being outside, and hosting campfires for her grandchildren to roast hotdogs and marshmallows. Her passion was nursing, and she found great fulfillment in her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) over the years. She also dedicated her time to serving others through her work with South East Community Action in Tecumseh, Nebraska, where she discovered her greatest joy in helping those in need. Her last job was at the Red Door Kitchen in Talladega.
Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She delighted in decorating and creating Christmas candies and cookies, which she lovingly gifted to her friends and family. She cherished spending Christmas Eve with her husband, children, and grandchildren, always making it a special occasion filled with love and joy.
Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to others will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
