It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Hart,74, of Talladega, AL, who departed this life on September 25, 2024. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Kevin Jones and Turk Holt officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the ceremony. Committal will follow directly after the service at Pine Hill Memorial Park.

Born on June 10, 1950, in Ashland, AL, she was a beacon of faith and love, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. Sandy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose unwavering love and support shaped the lives of her family. Her kindness, compassion, and deep faith in God were evident in everything she did. She believed in the power of prayer and often shared her faith through acts of service, uplifting those around her. She was a devout follower of Christ and a member of Stockdale Baptist Church.

Throughout her life, Sandy cherished every moment spent with her family. Whether it was gathering around the dinner table, celebrating holidays, or simply sharing quiet moments, she created a warm and nurturing home filled with laughter and love. Her selflessness and dedication to her family were unparalleled, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire us. Mrs. Hart was a loving wife, mother, and granny whose life revolved around her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie L. Walker and Robert H. Walker Sr., and brother, Robert “Bo” Walker, Jr.

Mrs. Hart is survived by her husband of 51 years, Rodney Hart; two sons, Ryan (Lori) Hart and Matt (Brandi) Hart; 5 grandchildren, Brady, Katie, Payton, Levi, and Luke Hart; sister, Jan (Rufus) Styres; a host of nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends which she considered to be a part of her family.

Jeff Styres, Rob Walker, Jonathan Hart, Michael Hart, Jeffrey Workman, and Brady Hart will serve as pallbearers.

Joe Ballow, Beaver Tinsley, Mike Hart, Phillip Hart, Tommy Smith, Ricky Burk, George Bishop, and Jeff Workman will serve as honorary pallbearers.
