Mr. Roy E. Alverson, 77, of Ragland, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Alverson, and his parents, Clarence and Jessie Mae Alverson.
He is survived by his son, Michael Alverson (Catherine); grandchildren, Shelby Alverson, Caleb Shaddrix, Cainan Alverson, and Trace Alverson; sister, Linda Alverson Mann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Providence Baptist Church in Ragland followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Michael Campbell officiating. Interment will be at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery.
