Obituary of Paul Comer Casey

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing Paul Comer Casey, who left us peacefully on August 31st, 2024 at the age of 71. Born on August 3rd, 1953 in Talladega AL, he lived a life rich in love and laughter. Paul was previously married to Kim Casey, with whom he shared 27 years and three wonderful children: Rick Casey, Amy Simmons, and Sherry Casey. Their union, though ended, was the foundation of a family that he deeply cherished. Later, Paul found love again with Mary Jane Casey, his devoted partner of 20 years and became stepfather to Chuck Ludwig and LoAnne Little. Together, they built a life filled with joy, support, and deep affection. His family was his pride and joy, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, five children, eleven grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father Harvey Casey, his mother Pauline "Pearl" Casey, and his sister Rose Scorsone. A memorial will be held on Wednesday September 4th, 2024, at 11:00am at First Baptist Church of Talladega. Paul leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and laughter!
