Obituary of Venus Marie Knight

Venus Marie Knight, 60 of Talladega passed away August 28, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm September 3, 2024, at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Her family will receive friends from 1-2pm prior to service. Roger Hayes will officiate the service. She was a native of Indiana, she lived most of her life in Talladega. She was a beloved friend (Lots of friends) who she enjoyed talking to and playing with her grandchildren. She never met a stranger and would help anyone. She was a loving wife, mother and Maw-Maw. She is survived by her husband Terry Knight, children Gary Wayne Calvert, Stacey Mayfield, Michelle Jackson (PJ), Jennifer Moore(Gerald),Jessica Knight (Adam), Derrick Cech, siblings Louann Manson, Roger Couch (Jackie), Gayla Hicks, Neil Couch, grandchildren Robert, Waylon, Katie, Hunter, Eryn, Alyssa, Patrick, Ethan, Even, Blayze, Makaelynn, Jedidiah, Izzy, great-grandchildren, Amir, Macie, beloved dog Pedro Knight, host of nieces and nephews. She preceded in death by father William (Bill) Couch, bonus mom Jerrie Couch, mother Joyce Beverly Morris, father and mother in -law Herman and Eleanor Knight, sister-in-law Karen Dean, nephew Julian Smith. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will handle services.
