Joseph “Joe Bob” Sanders, 84 of Munford, passed away at his residence August 9, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 12, 2024 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega with burial in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Stephen Mann will officiate the service. His family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel.
Joe Bob was a member of Local Union 312 Operators and Engineers.
He is preceded in death by son Jamie Sanders and his parents Jim and Pearl Sanders.
Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia Sanders; daughter, Cheryl Davis and husband Clark; son, Gary Sanders and wife Lanette; sister, Jimmie Pearl Mitchell; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Davis, Calon Fleming, Ryan Henderson, Luke Webber, Brody Davis and Brent Sanders.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Mann and Mark Sizemore.
Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct the services.
