Mr. James “Jim” Payton Trott Sr., 86, of Riverside, Alabama, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024.

Mr. Trott worked for thirty-five years at Kurt’s Truck and Parts. He served for nine years in United States Marine Corps and Alabama National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Ruby Trott, and by his twin sons, Michael Anthony Trott and Mark Avery Trott.

He is survived by his wife, Reba Bragg Trott; son, James Payton Trott Jr. (Tonya); grandchildren, Michael Justin Trott (Kristi), Jamie Luree Oates (Dustin), and Alexander Robert Trott; great-grandchildren, Adalynn Luree Oates and Lillian Jane Trott; brother, Quillie E. Trott (Elke); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024.

The funeral ceremony will be held at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, with Rev. Michael French officiating.
