James Fredrick Hanks Obituary

Mr. James Fredrick Hanks, 67, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.


Mr. Hanks retired from the St. Clair County Schools Bus Shop after 32 years of service. He was an avid blacksmith and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Hanks; father, William Hanks; and nephew, Jason Jones.


He is survived by his mother, Oma Dean Hanks; sister, Teresa Hanks; nephews, Jonathan Jones, JD Crump, and Colton Crump; and brother-in-law, Jonathan Crump.


The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Reeves Grove Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Alexander officiating.
