Obituary of Nora Kelsie Thomaston Johnson

Nora Kelsie Thomaston Johnson, 82, of Lincoln, AL passed away in Bridgeport on Saturday, June 29, 2024. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 03, 2024 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Jacky Morgan officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Blue Eye Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson lived most of her life in Lincoln, AL but had spent the last four years in Bridgeport, AL. She was a member of Blue Eye Baptist Church, and she owned and operated Kelsie’s Place Assisted Living in Lincoln. She was known for her outgoing personality and sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvel and Seleta Thomaston; son, Charlie Bryant; sisters, Euna Underwood, Brenda Slay, and Linda Brannon, and brother, Tom Thomaston. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Tina Otinger (Marty); grandson, Josh Otinger (Jordan); brother, Don Thomaston; sister, Barbara Kirtley, and a host of nieces and nephews.
