Sandra Ann Hindman, 63, of Talladega, AL passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Kevin Jones officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Hindman was a loving mother and maw-maw. Sandra’s love knew no bound when it came to her children, grandchildren, and family, and they were the center of her world. Her love was honest and sincere, never one to mince words or hide her true feelings. She was a woman of conviction, and her presence left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She enjoyed cooking, listening to oldies, and watching Joel Osteen. Anyone who knew her knew she was a loving and caring person who could light up a room with her beautiful smile. She lived life to the fullest and had a blast while doing so.
Throughout her life, Sandra faced one of the toughest battles one can endure—cancer. However, her strength and fighting spirit were unmatched. In the face of adversity, she stood tall and resolute, refusing to let cancer define her. Her tenacity and courage in the face of such a formidable foe were a testament to her unwavering spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James “Buddy” and Dorothy Faye Williams; son, Shannon Hindman; sisters, Rebeca Williams, Judy Gann, and Cathy Cooper, and brother, Ronald Williams.
Mrs. Hindman is survived by her husband, Edward “Rickey” Hindman; children, Amanda Hindman and Bradley “Dee” Hindman (Ashley); stepdaughter, Crystal Bridges; grandchildren, Paisley Hindman, Adalaya Fain, Laklyn Hindman, Brynlee Hindman, Everly Hindman, Spencer Bridges (Cassie), and Jazmin Bridges; great-grandchildren, Austin Bridges, Brailey Bridges, and Stetson Bridges; brothers, Danny Williams (Becky), Larry Williams (Lisa), Donald Williams, Michael Williams (Regina), Stevie Williams, and Scottie Williams; sisters, Linda Robinson (Kenny), Charlotte Howard (David), Brenda Sullivan, Jane Wiseman, and Pamela Buchanan, a host of nieces and nephews, and other beloved family and friends.
Jason Williams, Spencer Bridges, Tyler Williams, Jeffery Martin, Michael Williams Jr., David Howard Jr., Paul Catlett, and Dalton Marler will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Sandra Ann Hindman was a woman like no other, a beacon of light in a world that often feels dark. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her legacy of love and strength will endure for generations to come. May she rest in peace, knowing that her impact on this world will never be forgotten.
