Martha Lynn Parker, 78, of Talladega, AL passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Johnny Waites officiating. Following the ceremony, interment will be at Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Ms. Parker was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She retired from the Daily Home after many years of service. Ms. Parker was a member of Cherry Street Church of God and loved to knit, crochet, sew, and cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.L. and Faye Parker, and her brother, Terry Parker.
Ms. Parker is survived by her brothers, Tommy and Timmy Parker, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
David Parker, Austin Tucker, Jacob Tucker, Judson Tucker, Andrew Parker and Brody Davis will serve as pallbearers.
Tony Davis and Robby Tucker will serve as honorary pallbearers.
