Obituary of Stacy Lynn Parton

Stacy Lynn Parton, 44, of Talladega, AL passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Tharel Shirah officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. She will be interred privately at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Ms. Parton graduated from Talladega High School in 1997 and went on to attend the University of South Alabama. She was Baptist by faith and an avid University of Alabama fan. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joe and Esther Hanvey, paternal grandparents, Vernon and Ann Parton, and uncles, Donald Free and Brian Hanvey. Ms. Parton is survived by her fiancé, Lee Brand; daughters, Dakota Borden, Emma Pass, and Ashley Pass; son, Jake Pass; parents, Gary and Jennifer Parton, and aunts, Teresa Free and Cindi Hanvey. Jake Pass, Gene Fuller, Blaine Fuller, Adam Welch, Justin Stroup, and Harvey Brand will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, Ms. Parton’s family asks that donations be made in her memory to Alpine Baptist Church Benevolent Fund, P.O. Box 77, Alpine, AL 35014.
