Dale Owen Blankenship, 74, of Munford, AL passed away in Anniston, AL on Monday, April 29, 2024. A graveside ceremony will be held in his honor at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 02, 2024 at Blankenship Cemetery in Munford with Otis Graves officiating. His family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega from 11:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. prior to the service.

Mr. Blankenship was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County and was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed travelling and had a deep love for classic cars and trucks.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Owen Blankenship and sisters, Susan Marler and Diane Murner.

Mr. Balnkenship is survived by his wife, Chris Blankenship; mother, Edna Christine Blankenship; sons, Keith Blankenship (Libbie) and Kelly Blankenship (Rebecca); brothers, W. Keith Blankenship (Michelle) and Terry Blankenship (Christy); sisters, Phyllis Williams, Shelia Gentry (Roger), and Tena Blankenship; grandchildren, Micah Blankenship, Jacob Blankenship, Connor Blankenship, Caylee Blankenship, and Jaden Tipton, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Robin Robinson, Bill Klinner, Mike Klinner, Billy Ray Wills, Ray Milam, Wesley Blankenship, and Connor Blankenship will serve as pallbears.

Joe Tom Stevens, Jay Kirk, Edward Walker, Randall Wheeles, and Frankie Blankenship will serve as honorary pallbearers.
