Obituary of Bob W. Nunn

Bob W. Nunn, 84, of Talladega, AL passed away on Monday, April 01, 2024. A funeral ceremony will be held in his honor at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 04, 2024 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Jerry Colquett officiating. His family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Nunn was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, AL. He was retired from Crown Textiles and Mutual Savings. He was a member of Bemiston Baptist Church. Mr. Nunn loved working in the yard, and he was a loving husband, father, and paw-paw. He was preceded in death by his parents, G.C. and Ruth Nunn. Mr. Nunn is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Nunn; children, Alan Nunn (Rhonda), Robin McElroy (Ricky), Melissa Hardin (Jimbo), Hal Davidson (Kelly), Amanda Haynes, and Michael Davidson (Jessica); grandchildren, Joshua Nunn (Lydia), Lucas Nunn (Grace), Shea Cork (Ray), Zachary McElroy (Meredith), Christopher Hardin (Jennifer),Matthew Hardin (Brittany), Morgan Fletcher (David), Cohen Davidson, Dawson Davidson, Kayla Nunnally (Colton), Dylan Davidson, and Alyson Davidson, and 10 great-grandchildren. Alan Nunn, Hal Davidson, Michael Davidson, Joshua Nunn, Lucas Nunn, and Zachary McElroy are serving as pallbearers.
