Obituary of Betty Welcher Terrell

Memorial service for Betty Welcher Terrell, 84, of Talladega, will be Monday at 6:00 pm at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Rev. Ivan Fuller and Father Ben Turnage will officiate. Her family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home from 5-6 pm. Mrs. Terrell passed away January 2, 2015 at Citizens BMC. She was a native of Oregon, resident of Talladega most of her life. She was a member of the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Talladega. She loved spending time with her family and traveling. She is preceded in death by her husbands, James Welcher and Jeff Terrell; son, Gary Welcher; grandson, Jamie Swindall, brother, Tony Madsen. Bob, Susan and Mike lost their dear mother last evening. Betty will be dearly missed by her children Robert (Bonnie) Welcher, Mike (Connie) Welcher, Susan (Chris) Tripodis and daughter-in-laws Becky Welcher and Theresa Welcher, brother Ronald (Betty) Madsen, and sister-in-law Char Madsen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
