Pearl Elizabeth O’Donnell, 96, of Vancouver, Washington passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in Vancouver, Washington.

Pearl was born in Marvel, Alabama to Wilson and Ruby Price on October 12, 1927. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and loved her family and kept them close in her heart no matter how distant they were. She was an enthusiastic, confident, and hardworking person and retired after 32 years working for General Motors in Detroit, Michigan. She was a member of Ashville, AL Chapter 460 of Order of the Eastern Star.

Pearl is survived by her two children, Phil O’Donnell of Vancouver, WA and Stephen O’Donnell of Willow Park, TX: 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Ruby Price; her husband, Walker O’Donnell; and her siblings, Preston Price, Ruby Joe Reed, Lula Mae Bell and Jewel Dean Brooks.

Visitation will be held at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., followed by a graveside service at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Shoal Creek Valley, Alabama.

The family also wishes that, in lieu of flowers, consideration be given to make a small donation to the Shriners Children’s Hospital in the name of Pearl O’Donnell.
