Obituary of James E. Davis

Mr. James E. Davis, 69, of Riverside, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Jimmy was married for forty-two years to the love of his life, Donna. He loved God and his family. He also loved to fish, hunt, and go to concerts. He worked in the container business for many years. He was a formal millwright. He is survived by his wife, Donna Davis; daughters, Crystal Davis and Haley Wright; son, Nicholas Davis; grandchildren, Caitlyn Thornton, Noah Hayes, Natalie Hayes, Alexander Hayes, Zaiden Hayes, Aalayah Hayes, Ava Wright, Taelyn Wright, and Lilly Wright; sisters, Judy Lawhead, Denise Chapman, Linda Lowe, and Brenda Jarvis; brothers, Wilburn Davis, Billy Davis, Herman Davis, and Huburt Davis. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024. The funeral service will be held at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024, followed by interment at Possum Trot Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Triston Thrasher, Austin Abernathy, Noah Hayes, Eric Wright, Logan Scott, and Jonathan Abernathy. Honorary pallbearers are Alex Hayes and Zaiden Hayes.
