Mrs. Ima Jean Crump, 90, of Wattsville, Alabama went to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Mrs. Crump was a lifelong resident of Wattsville and spent thirty years teaching in the Pell City School System. She served as a pastor’s wife and a Sunday School teacher throughout her many years of serving the Lord. She also was a member of Broken Arrow Baptist Church and served on the Broken Arrow Cemetery committee. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Aldridge Crump, and by her parents, Claude and Daisy Campbell. Mrs. Crump is survived by her two children, Cindy Allen (Kenny) and Alan Crump (Claudia); grandchildren, Krista Lilly (Ray), Charley Lindsey (Camden), and Alexander Crump; and great-grandchildren, Caylee, Levi, and Colsten. A graveside service in her honor will be held at St. Clair Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024, with Bro. Bobby Walker officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Broken Arrow Cemetery, P.O. Box 75, Wattsville, Alabama 35182. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to family and friends, especially the members of Compassus Hospice, for the help and the prayers during her final days.
