Obituary of Ima Jean Crump

Mrs. Ima Jean Crump, 90, of Wattsville, Alabama went to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Mrs. Crump was a lifelong resident of Wattsville and spent thirty years teaching in the Pell City School System. She served as a pastor’s wife and a Sunday School teacher throughout her many years of serving the Lord. She also was a member of Broken Arrow Baptist Church and served on the Broken Arrow Cemetery committee. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Aldridge Crump, and by her parents, Claude and Daisy Campbell. Mrs. Crump is survived by her two children, Cindy Allen (Kenny) and Alan Crump (Claudia); grandchildren, Krista Lilly (Ray), Charley Lindsey (Camden), and Alexander Crump; and great-grandchildren, Caylee, Levi, and Colsten. A graveside service in her honor will be held at St. Clair Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024, with Bro. Bobby Walker officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Broken Arrow Cemetery, P.O. Box 75, Wattsville, Alabama 35182.
