Michael was a student of mine at Glencoe Middle School and he was also a neighbor and a precious young man. I would see him walking in the neighborhood or see him when he would come to Dollar General when I worked there. Despite his quiet personality, he always talked to me and was always so respectful and kind. My thoughts and my sincere sympathy go out to Michaela and your entire family. I can’t imagine how hard this is for you all. May you find comfort in one another and in the wonderful memories you have of that sweet boy.
